How to recall the email from Outlook

This is about deleting an email sent by mistake and how it is possible to do so in Outlook.

Open Outlook: To begin, you will need to click on Outlook on your computer. This is the program that helps you with your mails and with your schedule.

Move to the Sent Items: Now go on to the Sent Items section of the interface. This section will help you find a specific email that you wish to delete because it contains all the emails that you have ever sent out.

Retract the email:

Open the emailed window and look for the email that was sent out previously and want it to be withdrawn.

In the ribbon which is the upper part of the word, click on “Actions.’’

Then click on the drop down action called “Recall This Message”. This enables deliverance of the recall message.

Select Recall Options:

There are two possibilities: one can delete the copies of the email that have not been opened or substitute another copy for the one that bears the recipient’s name. Use the one that serves your best interest.

Once you have made your selection, click on the “OK” button to validate your selection and continue with the recall process.
